The Performances. Then The Party.
Sangeet DJ for London and the UK. Rehearsed family dances cued to the second — and the instinct to turn an audience back into a dancefloor the moment the last act ends.
A sangeet is a show before it's a party.
Months of family rehearsals come down to one night and one playback. A wedding playlist DJ is not enough here — sangeet nights need someone who works in cue points: every edit loaded in the right order, fired on the right beat, at the right level for a live room.
Prit Nasha has run sangeet stages for twenty years — from London banqueting halls to three-day destination celebrations at Lake Como. The performances land clean, the handovers stay tight, and when the final act takes its bow, the open floor begins without a beat wasted.
You book the artist directly — no agency, no substitute DJ. The person who plans the running order with your family is the person behind the decks on the night.
How A Sangeet Lands.
The performances
Choreographed family dances live or die on cue points. Every rehearsed track is loaded, trimmed and fired exactly where the choreography expects it — no fumbling, no dead air between acts.
Between the acts
The gaps are where sangeets sag. Short, warm interludes keep the room up without stealing focus from the next performance — and the MC handovers stay tight.
The turn
The moment the last performance ends is the most important transition of the night. The right first track turns an audience back into a dancefloor in under a minute.
Open floor
Then it builds — Punjabi classics, Bollywood, Bhangra, garage-era UK Asian anthems and today’s wave, sequenced so grandparents and cousins share the same floor until the lights come up.

Moments From The Floor.
"Seventeen years and counting. I first booked Prit for my 21st in 2009 — he's been the DJ at every event since, including my wedding. He tailors the music to the vibe and the crowd want him on every floor."

Sangeet Questions.
How do we send you our performance tracks?
Ahead of the night, each performing family sends their exact rehearsal edits. Every track is checked, levelled and loaded into the run order — so what plays on the night is precisely what was rehearsed.
Can you MC the running order?
Yes — introductions, act handovers and announcements are handled with your hosts and family leads, so the night keeps its rhythm without anyone chasing the microphone.
What happens after the performances?
The open floor. The first track after the final act is chosen to pull the whole room up — then the set builds across Punjabi classics, Bollywood, Bhangra and today's wave until close.
Do you provide microphones for the acts?
Wireless microphones are included for hosts, speeches and performers, with a PA sized to the room and backup equipment on-site at every event.
Can one booking cover the sangeet and the wedding?
Yes — many families book Prit Nasha across the whole wedding week. By reception night, he already knows exactly what your crowd responds to.
