Your Traditions. Your Terms.
Muslim wedding DJ for London and the UK — mehndi, nikkah and walima, programmed to your family's guidance, with clean edits as standard and twenty years of reading these rooms.
Every family observes differently.
Some walimas run like full celebration nights. Some families want music only at the meal. Some want the ladies' side to have its own energy entirely. There is no single template — and a DJ who assumes one has already got it wrong.
Prit Nasha starts every Muslim wedding booking with one conversation: what your family wants, where the lines sit, and what the best version of each night looks like inside them. Twenty years of South Asian weddings across London mean the questions get asked before they become problems.
You book the artist directly — no agency, no substitute DJ. The person your family briefs is the person behind the decks.
Function By Function.
Mehndi night
Warm, family-led energy — the songs the aunties actually know, at a volume that lets three generations talk and dance in the same room.
Nikkah
The ceremony leads; the music follows your family’s guidance entirely. Where music is wanted — arrivals, interludes, the meal — it is programmed with restraint and taste.
Walima
The celebration night. Dinner warmth building into a floor that spans Bollywood, R&B, Afrobeats and the classics — pitched exactly where your families want it.
The send-off
Endings matter as much as entrances. The last hour is programmed to finish the night full — however your family defines full.

Moments From The Floor.
"Seventeen years and counting. I first booked Prit for my 21st in 2009 — he's been the DJ at every event since, including my wedding. He tailors the music to the vibe and the crowd want him on every floor."

Nikkah & Walima Questions.
Can you work within our family's music guidelines?
Yes — that conversation comes first, not after. Music policy, content, volume and timing follow your family's guidance exactly, and clean edits are standard across the whole library.
Do you cover both the nikkah and the walima?
Yes — mehndi, nikkah and walima can sit inside one booking. Where the nikkah wants only ambient music or none at all, that is exactly what happens.
Our families span three generations and two continents — can you hold that floor?
That's the speciality: desi classics, Bollywood across both eras, R&B and Afrobeats — sequenced so grandparents and cousins stay on the same floor.
Can you keep announcements bilingual and low-key?
Yes — MC style is matched to the room: as present or as minimal as your family prefers, coordinated with your hosts and venue.
Do you take requests on the night?
Within your family's guidelines, absolutely — and the do-not-play list is honoured to the letter.
