Can you hold both African and Caribbean sides of a wedding?
Yes — Afrobeats and Dancehall/Soca each get played properly, as full runs rather than token records, and the crossover between them is where a mixed floor comes alive. The balance is mapped with you before the day, then read live on the night.
Do you have the old-school — lovers rock, soul, revival R&B?
Yes. The parents' and grandparents' era is treated as a headline part of the night, not filler — dinner and the early floor are built on it, and it is often what gets the first full dancefloor of the evening.
Can you MC the entrances and formalities?
Yes — bridal party entrances, speeches, cake cutting and the first dance are announced and sequenced with your coordinator and venue, as present or as low-key as you want the mic to be.
Can the set stay clean for a church crowd and elders?
Yes — clean edits are held across the whole library, so the floor gets full energy without the language, and anything your family doesn't want played goes on the do-not-play list and stays there.
Do you take requests on the night?
Within the plan agreed with you, yes — must-plays are locked in during the consultation and requests are folded in against the room, without derailing the night's build.
