Asian Weddings · London

Every Function. One Standard.

Asian wedding DJ for London and the UK — Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, multi-faith and fusion. From the first dholki to the last dance, with twenty years of reading South Asian floors.

— The Difference

A wedding week is not one gig.

An Asian wedding is four or five events, three generations, and two families — sometimes two faiths — each with their own songs. Most DJs treat that as one long party. It isn't. The mehndi is not the sangeet, and the sangeet is not the reception.

Prit Nasha has spent twenty years inside exactly these rooms: reading whether the floor wants Punjabi classics or the new wave, when the uncles are ready, and how to bring a mixed English–Asian crowd onto the same floor without losing either side.

You book the artist directly — no agency, no substitute DJ. The person you plan the week with is the person behind the decks at every function.

The Week

Function By Function.

01

Mehndi & Jago

Warm, family-led energy — dholki rhythms, boliyan, the songs the aunties actually know. Volume that lets three generations talk and dance in the same room.

02

Sangeet

Choreographed performances need a DJ who understands cue points, not just playlists. Rehearsed handovers, clean edits, and a floor-filler set when the performances end.

03

Baraat

Timed to the minute with your venue and videographer. Big entrance energy — and coordination with your dhol players so the transition into the venue lands.

04

Ceremony & Reception

Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, multi-faith or fusion — the music honours the moment. Then the reception builds: dinner warmth, first dance, and a last hour that nobody leaves early.

FAQ

Asian Wedding Questions.

Which Asian wedding traditions do you cover?

Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, multi-faith and fusion weddings — plus every function around them: mehndi, jago, sangeet, baraat, ceremony and reception. Each gets its own playlist and energy.

Can you work with our dhol players?

Yes. Baraat and entrance moments are coordinated with your dhol players and videographer so the handover between live dhol and the DJ set is seamless.

Can one booking cover the whole wedding week?

Absolutely — many families book Prit Nasha for multiple functions across the week. Consistency matters: one artist who already knows your crowd by the time the reception starts.

Our guests are half English, half Asian — can you hold both?

That's the speciality. Twenty years of fusion floors: Bollywood into R&B, Bhangra into house, and back — sequenced so both sides stay up.

Do you MC in English and Punjabi contexts?

Yes — announcements and coordination are handled with the tone each function needs, working directly with your planner, venue and family leads.
