Where It Started.

Indian wedding DJ for Lake Como, flown from London. Prit Nasha's first destination wedding was on this lake in 2014 — a three-day celebration across ceremony, sangeet and reception — and he was back at the lake for a wedding reception in summer 2025.

— The Story

The lake asks more of the music than a ballroom does.

Prit Nasha's first destination wedding week was Lake Como, 2014: three days of celebrations — ceremony, sangeet, reception — and he returned to the lake for a wedding reception in summer 2025. Lake venues bring their own demands, and they are planned for in advance rather than discovered on the night: sound that carries across open water, villas with strict curfews, stone courtyards that echo, power that must be agreed with the venue before anyone flies.

An Indian wedding adds its own layer: a sangeet with performances, a baraat that respects the venue's rules, Bollywood and Bhangra played properly alongside the Western catalogue for a guest list flying in from everywhere. That is the home game — the same multi-generation, multi-culture floor he holds in London, carried to the water.

You book the artist directly, and the artist flies. No local unknown recommended by the venue — the DJ your London guests already know is the one on the terrace when the sun goes down.

The Week

A Como Wedding, Day By Day.

01

The welcome evening

Guests arrive from everywhere. The first night sets the week's temperature — warm, unhurried, the soundtrack doing its work under conversation on the terrace.

02

Sangeet on the water

The lake changes a sangeet — performances against that backdrop, sound carried carefully across open air, energy built without fighting the setting.

03

Ceremony & reception

The formal day, planned venue-by-venue with your planner: ceremony sound, speeches, the first dance, and the turn into a full floor as the lights come up across the water.

04

The last night

Destination weeks end loose and joyful — the recovery party where the pressure is off and the floor belongs to everyone still standing.

FAQ

Lake Como Questions.

How does booking a London DJ for Lake Como actually work?

One conversation maps the week — which events, which venues, what each night needs. Technical requirements, sound limits and timings are then agreed directly with your planner and each venue before anyone boards a flight. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately and agreed up front.

Do you work with our wedding planner?

Yes — destination weddings are usually planner-led, and the music plans slot into their run sheets. Venue liaison, tech requirements and timings go through one thread so nothing is lost between London and the lake.

Can you cover the whole wedding week?

Yes — welcome evening, sangeet, ceremony and reception can sit inside one booking, each planned as part of one musical arc rather than a series of one-offs.

What about equipment in Italy?

Gear requirements are specified and agreed per venue before the trip — sourced to the same standard as at home, sized to each space, with the villa's power and sound limits confirmed in advance.

Do you play both the Indian and Western sides of the night?

That is the speciality — Bollywood and Bhangra played properly alongside R&B, house and pop, sequenced so grandparents and university friends share the same floor above the lake.
